Staying in Poole for a short break and looking for somewhere for dinner, we thought we'd try The Poole Arms.
So very pleased we did! …
OMG! Best meal so far in 2025 (went nov 2025). The seafood is amazing. Firstly the greeting on entry was superb, no rush to order. Drink prices amazing especially beer/cider. The food was so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.
If you don't like seafood/fish, this may not be the plaice(!) for you. They do serve non fish dishes but they are in the minority. Lovely unspoilt pub. Not massive so book to ensure a table. All dishes freshly cooked to order. Good wine list. Cask ales. Lovely staff.
