Still my go to place in Poole for Fish and Chips. The food was fresh and delicious as always. My only grumble is the size and cost of the sides. £2.25 for around two tablespoons of beans or mushy peas, served in an oversized thimble, is a little excessive, even during these times where costs have understandably increased. Otherwise, a lovely lunchtime meal.

Very pleasant experience, great service and good food. Staff were great and got a lake view table too. Will visit again when back in the area.

Amazing location with a great view. Had the King prawns, Calamari, as starter and the Haddock meal. The batter was really good, nice and crispy. The seafood was top quality. The only downsides was the portion size for King Prawns was expecting big pieces but got tiny prawns, and the chips were very bad, bland and dry.

Delicious fish and chips. Have had them from here a lot as a takeaway but hadn't realised there's a restaurant at the back which overlooks the lake. The clue is in the name really. Will definitely try the restaurant the next time I'm in the area.

What a place! We were welcomed by a very polite and professional staff, even the chefs said hello, they were very busy, a good sign of a restaurant, food was delicious, lovely crispy batter, my wife had the steak, she wouldn’t let me try it, she loved it. We will definitely come back! Well done everyone at lakeside

We were recommended to eat here by the receptionist at our hotel. Some of the best fish & chips we have ever eaten. Lovely views over the bay and a good selection of drinks. The staff were very busy but were always polite, helpful and attentive. Would thoroughly recommend. An excellent start to our holiday.

Had several family meals here and always enjoy it. Good quality fish & chips and a range of other options on the menu. We went for my mum's birthday last night and had an unexpectedly extra-good experience as our host Alisha was extremely entertaining and cracked us up all evening - we didn't realise we were coming for an 'eatertainment' experience but that's what we got and it made our night!

It is quite pricey and the chip potions are small. The curry sauce wasn't runny it was thick and very powdery. Only good thing is my celiac daughter can get some gluten free chips and feel normal as she is nor ally left out of takeaways due to there not being options

Lakeside Fish and Chips is one of our family's favorite places to eat in Poole. The staff members are friendly and the food is always very tasty. All fish is reasonably priced and I can see a lot of people with small children visit as well. There are high chairs for the little ones and let's not forget the lovely view from the restaurant 😀 For a very long time I was thinking Lakeside Fish and Chips is only a takeaway place due to never have seen them advertising and never checked, but the restaurant is really worth visiting. It is worth booking a table as it can be quite booked at times.

I cannot remember having a nicer piece of cod. Very fresh, tasty and beautifully cooked. Don't be put off by the fact the entrance is practically in a car park, once inside you have beautiful views of the quay and boats. Highly recommend this restaurant
