You should visit this pub purely for the interior, a feast of nautical embellishments, displayed with care, and attention to detail. The huge collection of artifacts and empheria make this a pub to remember. A good selection of ales on the bar too.

We visited on a Sunday in June 2023, having popped in around 6 months earlier for a pint just before they closed. This time we were there for opening and after checking the menu decided to try the Sunday Roast. We weren't disappointed as the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was out of this world. Both the Pork and Beef options came with all the trimmings you'd expect and the veg was especially delicious. Really good portion sizes too. It did get quite busy whilst we were eating, so booking ahead is probably advisable if you want to guarantee a table. But whether you're there for food or just a drink, you won't find a friendlier pub on Poole Quay.
A traditional, nautical themed pub nestled in the heart of historic Poole Quay.
A great selection of real ales, lagers and ciders as well as high quality, generously portioned food at a very reasonable price.
An under 18s ban is in place and enforced, allowing the childless to enjoy a pub surrounding without children running riot. Would definitely visit again.
