Rainy day breakfast - relaxed environment, great food, excellent value and friendly staff. Loved it. 2nd visit - still good. Cheerful staff count for so much. 3rd visit 14/10/23 - Great for breakfast. Staff friendly and excellent value. Poole Quay is so nice for a stroll.

Large spoons, tastefully decorated, with local beers available, busy during my visit on a weekday afternoon. Better than most.

Much better than the Lord Wimborne clean food is good can't believe the 2 pubs are owned by the same chain. Only fault is service is slow not blaming staff just a lack of numbers. Would definitely recommend to those on holiday

Enjoyed a late lunch here as a group of 8. Food was served well, was tasty and good value. Service was good. This is a very big establishment, and quite noisy so not ideal for a quiet meal for two etc. There is some outside seating at the front, which is a nice spot to watch the hustle and bustle if the quayside.

My wife and I regularly visit The Quay for dinner, usually on a Friday evening. When the working week is over, we love visiting Poole Quay to relax and unwind and have a meal in The Quay. Being mobility impaired, I love that we can just sit at a table and order using the Wetherspoon’s app on my phone. It is very easy and it has never caused any problems like wrong orders or whatever. Even when busy, we usually get our dinner within about 15-20 minutes and there is plenty of choice on the varied menu. The food ranges from good to very good with the occasional slight disappointment. I usually find the mixed grill is a bit overdone so the meat is dry. However, I love their curries, fish and chips, chicken dishes and so forth and the burgers look really good though I haven’t tried one yet. Their pizzas are good, not soggy and are well-priced. Keep in mind that the prices for most meals include a drink and that can be a soft drink, a beer and so forth. My only complaint is that the toilets are a long way at the very back of the restaurant which is difficult for me as I walk with a stick and slowly. There are toilets upstairs a bit closer but again they are difficult for a disabled person as there is no lift. I recognise though that for most people, this is a non-issue and this review is for everyone so it’s not a big deal. A very good eatery in which you can sit upstairs and enjoy a meal in the window overlooking the Quay and view across the harbour to Brownsea Island. I recommend it very happily.

Down at Poole Quay today, enjoyed the walking and chose to have a nice pint of strawberry cider here. Didn't bother with food today. Quite a nice pub, a lovely setting, mm the front of the Quay😎

It's a 'spoons, clean in the morning and sticky in the afternoon. They're all pretty much the same no matter where you go. The front of the pub is quite open and pleasant, there's an over 18s only upstairs and the back area makes you wonder if you'd slipped into a 60s holiday camp. Had we made it this far we would have just braved the murder gulls and had chips on the wall. Thankfully we grabbed a table near the entrance; ordered on the app and had drinks delivered almost instantly and food no more than ten minutes later. Should be noted that both toilets were barely operational which was the only let down.
