The Park Cafe

Great little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. It's next to the kids park and splash pool, small beach and is a 15 min walk into Poole - parking onsite is very cheap too. Offers breakfast, lunch and small bites - we just had breakfast so unsure what the rest of the menu is like. Great coffee, friendly service, and the cakes are delicious, you get a great slab for the price (carrot cake a must). We had the full breakfast bap which was nice, but it did cost £7. In my opinion, a bit steep for 1 average quality sausage, 1 bit of bacon, and egg and hash brown. You can grab a full English for that - would return though.

I visited the Cafe with an autistic boy that I have for respite. He loves the paddling pool and we always get chips. However this particular day it was really busy, so when I went to order there was already a queue and I was told it would be a 45min wait! My little boy had already sat down at the table, bearing in mind he doesn't do waiting very well. I got a little upset while explaining I had an autistic boy who would not wait 45 mins. Next thing I know, a bowl of chips arrived. I was so grateful and can't thank the ladies in the Cafe enough for their thoughtful gesture and kindness. It's so difficult on my own as he is a runner and does like routine and not everyone understands.
