Functional pub, a limited choice of drinks, with only one ale available at the time of my visit. Fails to compete with local competition, ignore what your competitors are doing at your peril, they are better than you at the moment.

Probably the nicest steak I had in ages: a light char outside a 'blue' rump 8oz steak, at only £15, with onion rings, chips, grilled half tomato, garnish. At £15 quid, come on; the chef knows about steak, and the winning charm of server Callum makes this a must visit to anyone visiting Poole.

We stopped for lunch by chance in this pub which is just behind the quay, it has a lovely courtyard area with lots of tables and seating, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was served quickly and was delicious.

Went lastnight for a meal with Family, there were 8 of us and everything was perfect, fantastic service from start to finish, all 8 meals were perfect and so were the puds, really lovely staff too.

We had a wonderful stay at the Antelope. The room was perfect; spacious and clean. It had all the facilities you'd expect like tea/coffee, hair dryer, iron etc. The hotel team are lovely - everyone we spoke to had a smile on their face and were always happy to help. The hotel is situated right in the centre of Poole, just a 2 minute walk to the harbour. The breakfast was delicious, with hot food and continental options. Evening meals were also great; I highly recommend the ham & leek pie! The hotel is also dog-friendly, which makes a big difference and the team were very welcoming to our furry family members.
We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Poole.

We enjoyed two evenings here for evening dinner. Both evenings were perfect with great food, delicious desserts , friendly staff, and atmosphere.

Went for lunch and was really good value for money. Everyone enjoyed the meal they had and came out really quick and was very tasty. Staff are very attentive and asked how our meals were. Location amazing and its a beautiful pub.

Went for a meal last Thursday. Food was amazing service was very good. Pub was very welcoming and friendly unlike the Jolly Sailor.
Would definitely return to antelope when next in poole
