I come to this m&s solely for the bakery section. In specific, the apple turnovers, they are exquisite! They are beautifully crisp and flaky and the filling, it’s not too sweet nor sour but this is complimented from the sugar crystal coating on the outside. A true triangle of happiness. They never disappoint, and I highly recommend that it is tried paired with the m&s chocolate milk.

Great shop it's not the biggest Marks and Spencer's in the world but has what you need. Star for pleasant and shop is clean and tidy.

Food hall very good. Large selection of high quality products. Something for everyone's taste buds! Definitely worth a wander around. Priced very fairly. Includes meals for one person, or larger selections for bigger families. Chicken, meats, fish, fruits and vegetables, and many many more. Frozen foods too. Definitely a Yes from me!.

It's always a pleasure to visit Poole M&S. In these challenging times, the staff remain helpful, cheerful and friendly. I visited the store on the 5th February to purchase food and return an online purchase. As usual, a staff member was greeting customers at the door, she smiled and genuinely welcomed all. She transferred to the till point shortly after and helped me with my return. Her name is Natalie -she was particularly helpful and friendly. It certainly helped my day along!. There are some, perhaps living alone, who have very little interaction with others.I can imagine that they would be totally uplifted by someone like her.

Pros: Purchased several items of menswear today (Tuesday), not very busy so served immediately. Got some really good quality goods at respestful prices. Extremely helpful and thorough staff. Cons: Many of the general goods are very sedate colours. By that I mean there is no vibrancy in their reds or blues, not always wanted I agree, but do appear somewhat dull in many instances.

All in all this a wonderful M&S!!! It is a smaller shop for food, but still a good size compared to other m&s's I have been to! They also have a great clothes section for women on the ground floor with shoes & a few handbags to choose from with a small jewellery stand as well. There are cards & perfumes in between the food hall & the women's section. Upstairs is a good selection of ladies pjs & underwear but also there is a good size selection of men clothes! Tucked right at the back they have a lovely small cafe where you can grab a bite to eat & drink which also has toilets 🙂

Amazing service and hospitable staff - competitors cannot compete with M&S for this. I went to buy some new work trousers before the lockdown (they were on the second floor which was closed). A staff member went upstairs and brought nemerous pairs in my size back to me to choose from. Great trousers - I've purchased them before and I'll purchase them again. It's hard to find service like this anywhere - I'll be back.

Staff of the staff are very very friendly including Sam. One member of staff refused to serve me and my partner all because she didn't have any i.d. staff need to be disability trained, store very clean. Need to improve the way some of the staff talk to their clients

Very upset to hear this store is closing in January! I will have to travel miles to the nearest store mainly because Ocado STILL don't have the warehouse facilities to deliver to anyone living in the Purbeck area despite the fact it's now 2 years since they started the contract with M & S. Yet they deliver to Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch etc. I'm also very sad for all the familiar staff who will just vanish...loyal employees who have been there years. People I know & recognise will all just vanish. A big mistake M & S. While I've not been able to get ANY food delivered to my new address, I've become a Waitrose customer (as well as using other online deliveries). Just my shopping alone must have cost M & S hundreds of pounds over the past two years. M & S Poole is a great store..even though it's not the biggest store they still have plenty of variety for food, clothes (men's, women's, children's) & you can order in-store for home delivery anything the larger stores stock. There's also a cafe & toilets so they have packed a lot into the space they have. Staff are friendly & helpful too. I've been shopping here for 11 years & for over 25 years in other M & S stores. I love their food & the quality. Well done M & S!

I have found that m&s have a very good range of very good quality goods at a reasonable price and I have noticed that there sell buy Date is good unlike other sites You are lucky if what you buy Is still ok to consume. Also I have A gluten sensitivity and they have A system of coloured circles on There products so I can look at The items and I don't have to read The ingredients saves me a lot of Time. Brilliant thanks
