Costa coffee is a great spot to relax.friendly staff, consistently good coffee and clean comfortable atmosphere perfect for a quick break while out on the High Street.
Queue of about 10 people waiting for their drinks/food when I arrived. 3 members of staff. Store is dirty - every table has a dirty tray on it yet staff are just chatting behind counter now that it has quietened down. Appreciate they might have had a long, busy day but this isn't a nice environment.
Unfortunately, this wasn't a great visit. The staff member taking my order struggled with English, which made communication a bit difficult - even simple things like asking for a glass of water or a shortbread caused some confusion. The …
went today with a friend for the first time, never again. service was so slow, they probably took about 10 minutes to make two drinks and the milk looked clumpy and gone off, however the barista had no reaction and just continued pouring. me and my friend couldn’t finish the drinks and binned them straight away. waste of money.
