My partner and I have just had the most wonderful, happy experience at The Port Bar, where the service (thanks, Laura and Lucy!) was personalised and generous, the iced coffees delicious and our half-and-half pizza a thing of beauty! The thoughtfulness and attentiveness to our needs were very much appreciated and added to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. Loved the look and feel of the place and we want to come back again soon! Who'd have thought it would be possible to solve the problem of which pizza to share by having one divided into two flavour combos! First class food and service.
Went with my partner for a quick meal. The restaurant had a lovely, warm atmosphere and Laura, Lucy, and Hannah were all very bubbly and friendly. They also customised our pizza when we couldn't make our minds up so we got a half and half. The pizza was full of flavour and the saltiness was just right. Quality food and experience. Will defo be coming back again :)
A lovely cosy place to eat and sample some of their craft beers. The pizzas are really nice. The staff very friendly and fast service. Luckily it was warm enough to sit outside still in October as it was very busy but the whole atmosphere was nice.
Really enjoyed a lunchtime drink and snack on Sunday here, beer and wine were excellent, and the space is very relaxing, with lots of sunlight if the weather happens to be good. Pizza was good, but could have been a bit more substantial, thicker base and a bit more topping, but ideal for a light snack. Definitely will return, beer selection was great.
Update... Sea salt pizza was fab .. if you want the nachos without the nasty cheese just tell them....very friendly staff...beer awesome as always.
I love the beer here..but the food... It's not great.. I have had pizza.!!..tried nachos.. disgusting..who puts liquid cheese on nachos..unless you are in Texas or at the cinema.. gross! Fair play they gave me a refund on the Nacho's! The description on the menu needs to be updated... Not right...not at all passable as decent Nacho's!
The perfect little spot for a bite and a drink in the sunshine.
• Pizza: goats cheese and mozzarella (I forgot the name). It was super tasty, cooked to perfection and would definitely order this over and over.
• Drinks: I ordered an oat chai latte and it was absolutely perfect.
•Service: the staff managed to give us a table outside on a relatively busy day for a quick spot of lunch. The staff were super friendly and very helpful.
Pizzas are the best. Highly recommend the fire starter! Staff are all great, but shoutout to the one waitress who seems to be there every night. Always super kind and never misses a thing. We do feel sorry for her watching her run around though so could do with some more staff. Still we keep coming back as we are always well looked after, and you can't top the craft beer!

Very lovely and hospitable place. The staff are very smiley and pleasant and coffee was nice too. Clean premises and good location.
The food was great and really reasonably priced for a nice meal out. We shared a burrata salad and a pizza and it was perfect. They also allow dogs which is fab!
