We took our Yorkshire relatives there for a meal and drinks, they thoroughly enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, wonderful service, every member of staff polite and helpful 👍

We have tried several times and found the same quality of service and taste in all of them. They are dog-friendly, so you never feel stressed when you go with your dog. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Finding a seat is not a problem unless it's on match days. So far, we have tried fish&chips, burgers, desserts, and beers, and they were all very delicious. In terms of service speed, price, ambiance, and taste, it's fantastic.

Went for a Sunday lunch, plenty to choose from and also two veggie options.
Veggie roast was really tastey and very reasonably priced. Cost me £25 for dinner, dessert and a cider.

Where do I start... Very friendly, happy, smiling staff. Given all options on how to order, where to sit etc. And the food is far above expectations for what is normally expected from a pub!

Lovely Sunday roast...Enough food to feed a small army so nobody is left wanting! The normal menu is great too, would highly recommend, this is one of the best pubs in Southsea

Just delicious and reasonably priced food.. all home made nothing out of a packet. Lovely lovely staff and you can take your dog. What's not to love?

The provenance of the meat is next level. The veg freshly picked. The service endearingly saucy. Good selection of beers. Wine pairing pretty good too. A Go to place when entertaining uninitiated guests. Old school with a young heart. Pukka!
