A propper old school chippy staffed by really nice people and obviously the heart of the community

Friendly service and generous portions. Owner was really kind and gave us 2 boxes of orange juice on the house and an extra portion of fries. We ordered 3 pieces of medium cod; 2 portions of cod roe; 10 pieces of scampi and one small fries which was more than enough to feed 3 adults. Everything was really well fried and hot from the fryer. A little greasy if anything, but no complaints otherwise. Would recommend.

What a lovely place. Went in and had to wait a while due to so many online orders- the owner was lovely, took the time to have a chat and offered me a free drink for the long wait.
Food was fresh, delicious and still piping hot by the time I drove home.
