I've been in this bar a few times but this time I invited a friend who came over from India and he's never been in a pub before so why not, and he loved it,he said it's so large and lots of room, and he was sending videos back to friends and family lol

I don't mean this to sound rude, but for a wetherspoons, the staff in here are exceptional. Can't be easy to keep together such a strong core team in this industry and they consistently deal with both friendly and difficult customers in a great manner.
Yes not every order is going to be perfect, but it's a spoons, the value and great staff make it a 5 star spoons experience.

I love the new refurb that has been done here makes the pub seem a lot more open and accessible instead of squeezing around every. Great place if you want to socialise, eat and drink without breaking the bank

Good ales, friendly staff typical Wetherspoons, and nice décor recently refurbished new carpet etc made it more airy at the back with sky light and windows. Today, Irvine Brewery Iron Duke ale 5.3 abv £2.10 perfect pint why go anywhere else.

As you'd expect from a Wetherspoons pub, it's cheap and cheerful with a wide variety of food and drinks for the whole family. Located a short walk from the seafront in Southsea so is ideal if you are visiting the attractions.

Popped in Saturday afternoon about 5 ish we ordered food only took about 15 min to get it. It was cheap and cheerful, you know what to expect with a weatherspoons, we had all been drinking all day so needed something to soak up the booze
