So, tried the China Garden after a 2 year absence and would like to post an honest review.
*King prawns in salt and pepper - excellent. Big prawns and plentiful too.
*BBQ spare ribs- tender and meaty, but sauce need to be richer to give that sweet sticky taste.
*Chicken curry - lots of it, but the sauce used was not very flavourful and a bit powdery tasting, like it’s not cooked through.
*Egg fried rice - very nice and plentiful.
*Free mini spring rolls - nice touch!
We will go back and use again, but there are so many dishes on the menu (inherited from previous owner), that I wonder if reducing and specialising would be the way forward?
Food was good but more expensive than other takeaways in the area. Very good service, though.
