Nice fish experience, loved the local fish tanks, idea to expand in this area? However having a mix with tropical fish is great for kids. They just love to see dory and nemo. It takes about 1 to 2 h to go through the experience, easy to park in front or near the place, we paid 48 £ for a family entrance.

Kids enjoyed it very much and that's the main thing. However, I've been there few years back and it was in much better shape then. It looks like it's been under invested, although shark enclosure is currently being refurbished, outside play ground area would benefit from a bit of TLC. Missus said the female toilet is absolutely disgusting. You can go in and out throughout the day so that's a good thing. Reasonably priced and under 3s go free.

A pretty decent way to spend a couple of entertaining hours with lots to see. The place has changed lots if the 8 years or so since I last visited. Plenty to see and lots of decent information boards explaining things about the fish/animals. These could have been better though if they had been multi-lingual rather than just in English. There is more variety in here than you would think and each area is well themed to make it feel like a natural progression. Plenty of viewing slots for younger/smaller children so a great place to keep them interested as well. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have lots of knowledge about the fish/animals, so make the visit for interesting. the place appears to be wheelchair friendly. The gift shop at the end of the tour is more reasonably priced than some similar experiences.

Came here for my daughters birthday on boxing day last year. Loved it. It was quiet in there due to time of year but that made it much nicer for us, we could see everything and a nice pace to look around.

It was a fantastic place to go if you like sea life. I’ve expected more aquatic animals inside but that’s not too bad. Had a pleasant day at blue reef aquarium.

What a great day out, located in the family friendly area of Southsea, Blue Reef is just one of many ways to spend a day, and spend an entire day there you very well could! The staff are great, the site is large and contains a fantastically diverse array of animals and the gift shop is filled with brilliant trinkets and collectibles that are almost (but not quite) as eye-catching as their real life counterparts. Ticket prices are fair and there is a cafe on-site that I've heard good things of (but am yet to try myself.) If you're looking for a way to entertain the kids, a romantic afternoon getaway or you're just someone who likes watching animals simply be, then I could not recommend Blue Reef more.

Cute little aquarium, good price but is smaller than most aquariums I've visited. Great for kids. Turtle with an attitude problem, adorable otters, fishing strictly prohibited and don't feed your kids to the sharks (it upsets their stomachs).

Really fun activity to do, great for little ones (although me & my partner went without kids!) My only disappointment was that it was over too quick, for the entry price, I wish there was a little more to see there. But we definitely had fun & enjoyed it. Would recommend it you haven't been before! :)
