An amazing place with incredible staff and superb cocktails and food. We gave a tip as the restaurant was absolutely amazing! They gave our cocktails on the house as they took a long time to be made but we really didn't mind. The seabass my partner had was incredible produce and the quality of the meat in the burger I had was sensational. The chips were fantastic and very tasty. I'd highly recommend anybody to visit.

Absolutely amazing food, drink and service! We came in for dinner to celebrate graduation and Raffi did an outstanding job looking after us, definitely try the kung pow cauliflower when you stop by!

Food was absolutely delectable – tasty, non-greasy and presented beautifully. It was my first time trying a dessert bao bun, and I may have to try replicating it at home 😄 However, the highlights for me were the comforting floral décor and cocktails. It's arguably pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for: locally sourced, high-quality dishes.

We found this place by chance. My friend and I went to Portsmouth for a weekend. We didn't want to eat at one one the chain restaurants so Forty-6 was a really lucky find.
The restaurant is cosy and the decor is tasteful. The staff friendly, they know the menu and offer advice when asked. The were also patient with us as we hesitated and tried wines until we found one we liked. The food presentation was good abd tasted lovely.
Well priced restaurant. We would recommend a visit.

Food was really tasty.
The small plate surf and turf, was absolutely delicious.
As was my seabass main.

Booked Restaurantforty6 for my birthday, all of the staff were helpful, funny and charming. The cocktails were delicious. We ordered most of the starters to share and everything was incredible! Presented beautifully and insane flavours! Really enjoyed our night and can't wait to come back to this very stylish yet non pretentious restaurant! Thank you for a great night!
