Visited Portsmouth for a few days and came across this lovely Italian restaurant in Southsea. Portions were a good size and presented to a high standard. Food was tasty and worth the money. I really liked the bruschetta (as per photo) for starter. Enjoyable meal.
Delicious food, would recommend. *we asked for an extra scoop of ice cream for the brownie when ordering*
Decor is very nice love the faux flowers in the corner of the room hanging from the ceiling.
Only downside was that the lager tasted a bit funny, but they were very helpful with changing it when mentioned (Lager is our go to drink where ever we go)
Not your traditional Italian service but very good customer service.
Thank you, my partner enjoyed his birthday meal!
We managed to get a booking here on a Friday evening for some dinner. First impressions are it's a very smart looking restaurant which has been tastefully renovated.
The staff are friendly and helpful, attended to us very well through the evening.
Our wait for food was not too bad considering it was fully booked. The food we had was ok, some feedback; caprese seemed too plain, the arancini balls were very nice, my pizza for me was underdone notably with a runny egg and I won't comment on the pasta dish as I didn't try it.
I appreciate this is a newer restaurant so the menu development may still be in process. As noted in another review, it's missing that authenticity.
I will visit again in a few months to check it out as I feel this could develop into a great spot.
