We visited whilst being moored at High Poynton we wanted somewhere that was dog friendly and here we could sit in the conservatory. The food was very tasty and drinks were too. Reasonably priced and definitely worth a visit.

I've just paid £15 (more fool me) for two eggs (yolks dry) chips beans coffee and a couple of rounds of bread. Service slow. It's the worst I've had since I can remember. I wouldn't recommend this place for cooked breakfast. Awful!!
I’ve eaten here a few times the most recent being in the evening which they have just recently started the menu was amazing, I tried their sea bass with vegetables which was delicious and the presentation was spot on, the staff their are so accommodating and polite even at busy times, would definitely recommend a visit ☺️
I had a lovely experience dining at the ice and fire today, staff especially were very accommodating, in particular the young lady and young man. Will definitely return and food was spectacular!!
Food was a bit too greasy for me, one toastie was ordered as panini but came on sliced bread. No high chair brought over when asked, unfortunately we wouldn't return
