We decided to go here on Christmas Eve. Booked a table for four (luckily, as they were turning people away it was that busy!).
The food was excellent (I’d recommend the blue cheese and steak pie!) and the staff were clearly busy but polite and helpful.
A bonus was the wide range of gin’s on the menu, will definitely be returning!
Once again had a great lunch, food fabulous plus my company was quality. Ok so they changed the Merlot selection to Running Duck, wow what a Merlot. Seriously a beautiful wine and its vegan/vegetarian. The staff are lovely and helpful especially when we couldnt remember what food we had ordered, I blame it on the wine��� if your a wheelchair user ring in advance and reserve a table as it does get busy. Love the whole atmosphere. We opted for another bottle if Merlot rather than get desserts, hey it was a quality choice� well done Hunters, I highly recommend you, you are on my places to trust and that in itself is a great accomplishment. Keep up the hard work�

There are lots of different parts to this place with interesting deco so worth having a look around it before sitting down.
I have been here before but didn't review at the time but have a lovely meal then as well so it's a thumbs up from me.
Great food, we had a table of 6 plus a baby and the service ended up being a little bit confused, it took a couple of attempts to give us the correct meals, but the food was lovely and the portion sizes were good!
Absolutely amazing food, I got the salt and pepper special and my mum got Lancashire cheese pie with chips and gravy. 10/10 food and service plus the inside looks really cool! Next time I’ll book the back room as it is hunter themed and looks awesome! Since I was a walk in I sat at the front which was still lovely
Awesome find. Called here for our sons 17th birthday treat with his 2 sisters. The food was amazing and well presented. All 5 meals served at the same time. The Steak sword for me , Chicken/chorizo sword for the wife. Birthday boy had Steak+ale pie, and the girls had Burgers. Service and staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning as I would say this is the best restaurant/food/service I've ever been to, I just hope they never change and let things slip.

A Wonderful Experience at The Hunters Pub & Dining!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Hunters Pub & Dining, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the delectable food to the outstanding service, everything about this place exceeded my expectations.
To start off our meal, we indulged in the nachos and sweet fries, and they were absolutely delicious. The nachos were loaded with flavor, and the sweet fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They were the ideal appetizers to set the tone for the rest of our meal.
For our main course, we ordered the ribs and the Sunday roast. The ribs were a true delight, falling off the bone and smothered in a finger-licking BBQ sauce. The meat was so tender and flavorful, it was an absolute pleasure to savor each bite. The Sunday roast was equally impressive, with succulent meat and perfectly roasted vegetables. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us feeling completely satisfied.

What an absolute gem! We stopped here on a whim for some dinner on our way to the Lake district.
Staff were friendly, and the food was 10 out of 10. Most of all, this place is just oozing with character! There's so many unique parts of this pub you don't know where to look. It's a shame we live so far away as this would be the new local!
I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant and pub. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, we really felt welcome. Looking at the menu and the prices, I wasn't expecting much. Just normal "order with your table number" type food.
I was amazed when the food arrived. Large portion, which was too much for me to eat (very rare for me!) The carrot and chilli soup was tasty with just enough burn to get the sniffles going. The beef dipper was massive and delicious. All for just over 9 quid!!!! The others at the table had an equally impressive experience.
I loved it so much I am now house Hunting (pun intended) in the area so that I can make this my local. Highly recommended 👌

Went for an adult birthday celebration and enjoyed it a lot. Paid extra for the Garden Club outdoor private booths which were worth it as these granted an elevated and exclusive seating area but you still felt a part of the whole atmosphere of the place which was buzzing on the sunny Sunday afternoon/evening we were there.
Service was friendly if a tad slow and the food was really good but perhaps just a little on the high side with mains around the £15 mark, mine was £21 being the chicken & chorizo sword which did actually come served on a replica sword.
Drinks fine but again a little expensive, cheapest pint I could see was £5 and I remember a double rum and coke being £8 something.
Nonetheless, I am making a return visit with family next week just to demonstrate how much I enjoyed it. The Sunday Roast looked good too but I haven't tried that.
Parking was a little tricky but it was busy that day and toilets were clean and well stocked.
Outdoor seating area was very good but really popular so busy and as we sat outside I only saw the interior briefly but it looked decent enough.
Overall a great asset to the Lostock and wider Preston area and in its tucked away location quite a pleasant surprise to me.
Great food, ate midweek with colleagues from work. Would certainly go again.
Amazing pub and hidden gem. Well known for locals but very good surprise for foreigners. Good food, beer selection and amazing interior design!
