I think this is the place where David Cameron came for fish and chips with the Chinese Prime Minister. I might be wrong. Anyway, it was a biker stop off - nice to sit outside and enjoy the country. Worth a visit, it's a bit tucked away. You can walk up the hill to get to the white cross. A good hike and you can see for miles!

Ordinary pleasant pub catering for locals and passing hikers, who are requested to remove any muddy boots before entering the bar. We didn't sample the food, but the locals were having pub grub as well as liquid lunches. Good selection of lagers and ales. Tables inside and out, with most outside being sheltered under canopies.

We went for Sunday lunch to the Plough at Cadsden. Beautiful location but that was over shadowed by how great the food was and most importantly how friendly the young team are. I genuinely think this is the best Sunday pub lunch I have had in a long time and the whole experience including taking my disabled brother could not have been beaten from a service level. Only small shame is that the interior does not match the beautiful country pub setting.

Lovely located in the wood, especially after a long day hiking The Ridgeway trail. Service was friendly. Food also nice

Great location next to the woods and hiking trails. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and with own carpark for customers.
