Had lunch with friends , was told there was a hour wait for food which wasn’t a problem as we were in no rush, waitress very friendly and apologetic as they were short staff and only 1 chef , chef Darren did an amazing job with the food as restaurant was nearly full the food was hot and tasty definitely recommend

Had a really lovely lunch today. Service was friendly (Deb-I think is her name-is a credit to the venue - she didn’t stop!) and the food was really excellent. Plant based options can be hit and miss but each of the two courses was full of flavour. Plus with a 30% discount it was great value. It was our first visit and we will be back. Many thanks.

My family and I chose the barn owl for my birthday meal out and the staff were very friendly and polite food was 10/10 everyone was pleased with their mains and desserts, the price was very reasonable too! Thank you for making my birthday special! 😊😊 will definitely be back soon

Went here today 16th Sept. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Clean and tidy. Attentive and informative staff a credit to the manager. Food was lovely and hot. Would definitely recommend to others and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a lovely meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It was a good quality meal and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

I'm not sure if the barn owl is under new management, went in for alight lunch. 2 adults 2 older children. Food was excellent and service was very good staff making sure everything was OK, friendly and pleasant. Place appears cleaner than previous visits. Prices are reasonable. Took my allergy seriously. Not all places do. Definitely visit again soon.

I called late in the afternoon for a party of 11 for the same day, we was accommodated and the table was booked.
Gathering details for 11 meals was a task and a half, I did start entering it on the app, but I gave in and wrote it down instead, as it was easier. Having gathered the multitudes of meals and drinks, I went and ordered at the bar, of course letting the young lady know it was a big order.
Food arrived within a reasonable time, I didn't expect 5 minutes to turn around, as well as my large party; there was another large group also dining. No one had any complaints about the food within the party.
I want to thank Debbie for taking the booking and accommodating us, Kayleigh (I assume as it says on receipt) for her patience when I ordered as with kids' meals there was quite a variety of combinations, and for the staff that served us.
When we come down this way again, I'll be sure to visit and bring the family again.

Nice to find somewhere local that serves gluten free choices. Eaten here a couple of times now. First time a double burger( big) and recently a sandwich with chips. I’ve had the chicken and bacon one, and now the tuna mayo open sandwich. Lovely and quickly arrived. Would like some veg or salad with it though! Definitely will go again.
