A nice little spoons on the High Street with seating out the front as well as a small strip outside opposite the bar that let's in so much light - it's great. The pub wasn't the usual dark wood which I think gave it a much lighter and relaxing feel. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The fish and chips was as good as always and the Guinness was excellent.

We both had medium rare 8oz sirloin stake with chips & side salads. I was lucky and could eat approximately 45% of mine, my wife was less fortunate and found her's virtually uneatable, due to the presence of so much gristle. Sent hers back and next one was much like mine. Chips were fine. I had a mediterranean salad and her's was a normal mixed salad. Both were very good. Drinks fine. As was the sevice. To sum up: - we will avoid ordering any steaks here again. We have eaten here several times in the past, ordering other meals and no had any problems. The quality of their steak were tasty but appalling to say the least.
