A random visit to the Wimpey in Rayleigh with my 89 year old mum was a wise move and her first visit ever to Wimpey ..She had the fish and chips and loved it and I had the double quarter pounder with cheese and chips ! It was such a lovely surprise when our meal turned up hot fresh and looking exactly like the picture on the menu from which we had chosen.. the staff were friendly and efficient and the food cooked to perfection .. the restaurant was immaculately clean and welcoming.. Elise and Ali couldn’t have been more attentive and efficient if they tried .. Wimpey Rayleigh you deserve your 5 star review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we will be back .. Thankyou from Jane and Marian Crosland

Always enjoy a Wimpy, brings back childhood memories. This is a good one with great food, fast service and always a friendly welcome. (Cheaper to order in person than to use an app, I saved about 10%)

Had a breakfast muffin in here the other morning, better than McDonald’s for sure, muffin with egg, sausage, cheese, hash brown and brown sauce 👌

Staff are very friendly and it was nice and clean. Had the classic quarter pounder with cheese and a portion of chips. Burger was good (but not as good as I remember back in the 1980's) and the chips were red hot straight out of the pan. A nicer experience compared to the other burger chains by far.
