Been here a few times with no issues.
Today I visited with my son and nan to get some chips. We were served by Kieran who asked if we wanted salt and vinegar, I explained my son is actually allergic to vinegar. He asked the lady who was working alongside him to serve up. He asked her to wash her hands and make sure the chips weren't anywhere near salt and vinegar, while explaining to her that my sons allergic and that you cannot take risks with allergies especially in children.
Thank you Kieran and lady (I'm sorry I never got your name) for the care towards my son, not many places are as hot and careful with allergies as you guys were today!

Literally just finished our dinner and it was quite simply the best cod n chips we've had, everything was perfect and you could actually taste the tender cod,
We decided to give these guys a try after our regular chippy started using what looked like ready made cod from a supermarket that was also off,
Churchills staff were polite and professional and big kudos to the guy who was cooking all the food, he was rushed off his feet as it was very busy and only 3 staff including him to deal with all the orders but despite that he was keeping his head and doing a great job,
I hope they are well rewarded for their hard work as its very much appreciated

Every time we've had fish and chips from here it's been excellent. Having a loyalty card too gives us a free sauce or peas after 5 stamps or free meal after 10 stamps. A stamp for every £5 spent. Staff are lovely too. Highly reccommend. 🥰

Best fish & chips I’ve had in a long time. The chips are twice fried so crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. Fish is cooked to order so piping hot & crispy. Just discovered this place so I’ll be a regular customer from now on. Polite friendly staff & Covid management is very well done.

Hands down the best fish and chip shop, never had a problem with this place, food always hot, cooked well and lush!
Friendly staff too and they're pretty quick in there even when it's busy, we won't get fish and chips from anywhere else. 100% recommend!

Good fish and chips, served in generous portions and always properly hot. Prices are reasonable & the service is friendly. It can get busy in here (because it's good, I suppose), so sometimes you will have to wait. Takeaway is better than eat in because it can be very warm inside, especially on sunny days.
