We recently dined at Hala and it's truly a cut above the rest. Unlike other places in the area claiming to serve Lebanese food, this one offers an authentic culinary experience. The ambiance which is neat and comfy and adorned with old-time posters, news cuttings, and advertisements that adds a unique and nostalgic touch to the dining experience. The food is incredibly flavorful and the service is exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive. The only minor drawback is the 10% service charge on dining which could be reconsidered. Overall, a top-notch Lebanese dining destination deserving of 5 stars!

The food is amazing! Every time I have ate there the food has been cooked exceptionally well and with fresh, high quality ingredients!!! Thank you Hala Lebanese for bring authentic Lebanese food to Reading (and I have tried the others in Reading 🙄) - You have saved me a trip to Edgware Road in London whenever I fancy good quality Lebanese food! 😋 👍

Delicious food, generous portions, I recommend trying it. I think the 1 star review for adding service charges is unfair as the menu says in large text on the front that there is a 10% service charge when dining in. In fact, it’s much clearer than most restaurants where they only put it in the fine print. It shouldn’t have been a surprise to that customer.
