We recently dined at Hala and it's truly a cut above the rest. Unlike other places in the area claiming to serve Lebanese food, this one offers an authentic culinary experience. The ambiance which is neat and comfy and adorned with old-time posters, news cuttings, and advertisements that adds a unique and nostalgic touch to the dining experience. The food is incredibly flavorful and the service is exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive. The only minor drawback is the 10% service charge on dining which could be reconsidered. Overall, a top-notch Lebanese dining destination deserving of 5 stars!
Delicious eatery with a friendly staff and surprisingly prices are pocket friendly, good addition of Lebanese food in Reading.
Wow ,just amazing new labenese food around the area which was really required in this particular location .Everything was amazing from food to atmosphere,price ,serving and services everyone was absolutely fabulous,would recommend worth trying.

I think the 1 star review for adding service charges is unfair as the menu says in large text on the front that there is a 10% service charge when dining in. In fact, it’s much clearer than most restaurants where they only put it in the fine print. It shouldn’t have been a surprise to that customer.
The servers were so professional and friendly.
The food was delectable fresh and full of flavour.
The place is always so clean when I visit.
The atmosphere here is fantastic.

Best Lebanese food in reading hands down
Deliciously catered grilled kebab & rich menu that includes meat, chicken and fish. Donner (both meat & chicken), soft drinks, relatively speedy service and welcoming staff in this store. Dine in is available but limited. Ha restrooms inside too.
The food we ordered included meat doner (small was plenty for one person, comes with fries & your choice of greens). Grilled fish was sizable despite the bit higher price (about £10), but was worth it delicious. Most other items less than £6, with good size meat & fish burgers. Pasta was well done, like homemade.

Spotted this restaurant today, and thought to pop in to see what they have, there's some parking outside, and a nice outside seating area. Inside its clean and comfortable, but I would like to see cornered off area for a family, as its quite close with the tables. Had a look at the menu, and decided to give the chicken shawma wrap a go - oh boy, hands down this is really good! Its almost there in tasting the same as I had a good few years ago in Saudi, all that's missing is that purple pickled turnip and a few fries inside the wrap! I really enjoyed it, I will be coming back for more of them!
Long wait for collection tonight as they were so busy (word must be getting round). Wait was worth it though, food was totally delicious. They kindly threw in a dish they nearly forgot FOC - only realised once home and read the message on the container lid. Nice touch.
Highly recommend, I don't usually review but this restaurant hits all the boxes. Flavourful well cooked dishes, easily best Arab food in Reading, lady on reception (Camilla maybe) very attentive, staff friendly, will be our new ‘go to’ place to eat.
