Excellent: The food is great. We get either the jollof, peanut soup, or the waakye. Not so good: The queues are too long every Sunday we've been there - we feel there can be simple solutions using data to optimise customer experience and reducing wait times. There is 30 minutes free parking in the area but you have to pay cos you can't be in and out in 30 minutes. The music is also too loud. It is too loud every Sunday.

Ordered for the first time last Friday and I was not disappointed. The okra stew with assorted meat was super delish and generous portion too.

As we can't travel at the moment we decided to substitute it with trying Ghanaian food for the first time. We were able to get a number of different dishes to takeaway and Betty was very welcoming and happy to explain to us what goes with what. If you're missing travelling and exploring at the moment this is the perfect way to try something new.

I was very well looked after when visiting Betty’s Bistro, the server informed me of all the vegan options I had and gave a good recommendation. Best fried spicy plantain I’ve had in years! Will def visit again if I ever happen to be in Reading.
