Twas delicious the prices were really good. The staff was friendly, we asked about the vegan options and it took a little bit of time but the chef came and chatted to us and was super lovely. The dosas and idlys can be made vegan. We really enjoyed our selves and they even gave us a free little dessert.

Very authentic vegetarian South Indian cuisine. Loved the Thali and is on a par with any I’ve had in the UK. The restaurant itself is clean bright with a good atmosphere. The prices are also reasonable. Will definitely be coming back.

One of the best Indian vegetarian food I have had. Both my family and I have totally enjoyed the food they served here at Madras Flavours. The dosa was crispy and tasty (the chutneys that came with it were delicious!), the biryani was flavourful, and the thali meals were great! Another important point: the price is absolutely affordable. Five of us had lots of food for only £47. Totally recommend this restaurant!

One of the best places for South Indian food 🥘. You must try the Gobi Manchurian dry, masala papad, vada and mini idlies for starters. Dosas are very tasty served with authentic sambar and chutney. The paratha kurma is also one of the favourites !! It’s a must try. If you also fancy a South Indian thali that’s also highly recommended !! South Indian thali is served with rice, puris, curries, pappad and a lot of other delicious items. I would highly recommend this place 👌👌👌

Love Madras Flavours! One of the nicest South Indian places in Reading :) The Unlimited Sunday breakfast buffet is worth the price, it’s super crowded though. Staff are friendly and very professional. Lunch thali deals are really good as well! Thank you Will definitely come back again :)

Madras Flavours has the best Idlis in entire reading. Super soft and fresh The dosa's are amazing too, however the sambhar can get better The Mumbai Thali is delicious and the quanity is huge. They do paan and indian sweets as well which are tasty P.S - Do not try the badam halwa here. Its very bad and tasteless.

Excellent South Indian food. Went there a bit early with friends. Ordered - Onion Rava dosa, Onion Rava masala dosa ( potato sabji filling), which come with 3 chutneys and one sambhar (curry). My daughter ordered Noodles, which was good. My friend ordered Pizza Uttapam minus the cheese, which comes with 3 chutney and sambhar too. Her husband ordered idli, which comes with 3 chutneys and sambhar too, and their daughter ordered plain dosa again, which comes with 3 chutney and sambhar too. Sweet dish, we ordered vanilla ice cream, gulab jamun, and pineapple sheera. All were good. You must have filtered coffee, which comes in small steel glass and steel bowl... that's authentic and pretty mustn't miss. Overall, I will recommend this place.

AMAZING! That's what i can say. Being an Indian and getting good and authentic South Indian dishes is a luxury in the UK. They have weekend unlimited breakfast buffet and its a must try. It is all worth it.. the food is great , location of Restaurant is good, staff is cordial and efficient. Note - weekend breakfast buffet is sought after so you will get waiting and also they won't allow new customers after 11am, so my advise would be to reach the restaurant by 10am max for you to have your breakfast peacefully and on time.

Good South Indian food taste, clean modest South Indian restaurant. The only issue, for those travelling by car, is there is no parking available for the restaurant. We can find queens road parking or the road side parking which is close enough, however much expensive. There is a bus stop right in front of the restaurant though, so convenient if using public transport to go to town centre. The food is moderately priced so that’s good. Staff is helpful as well. If you want to try vegetarian South Indian food.. it’s a good choice.

Had a breakfast here and everything was so flavorful and delightful! Every bite is an exciting adventure. The sweets are great as well. The space is clean and spacious. The staff is very kind (in their own way. It may come across a bit rude but they mean well) We love it a lot and would love to visit again if possible. Would support their expansion to other cities as well. Super tasty Indian vegetarian food, why not?
