We came to the cafe today, (but were a little late getting there for lunch) there wasn't a sandwich that we wanted so started to walk through the park. The lovely gentleman from the cafe came to find us and handed us his own lunch for my grandson and 2 hot drinks for us, all free of charge. An absolutely lovely gesture that was very appreciated. What a great place with fantastic people.Thank you again
Me and Tyler went over today he loved the huge obstacle bounce castle........ men in charge of it we’re all very polite and sociable all the kids seemed to be enjoying it.
The boats were busy and everyone was having a lovely time in the lake,
The boathouse cafe was very busy but we still got a seat on the decking with a lovely cup of tea and cherry and almond scone, I sat and chilled in the sun tbh I could have sat there all day it was so relaxing, well done to all the staff it was a very hot busy day for you all, I usually visit costa a couple of times a week but will be going to the boat house cafe from now on x
Beautiful park lots of wildlife. Beautiful flower garden and seating. Bridges to walk across lake. Watch the ducks swans heron. Etc. It's amazing. Followed by a very good cafe.staff are very good
Service is great. They are very helpful. Small inside but have a beautiful outdoor area looking right onto the lake. So I'm sure you'll find a seat front of cafe in cafe or out on veranda who's is a good size. Love it here.. Car park outside of the park but I always managed a space near gates so it's so easy. Go and enjoy.!!
Lovely park in the heart of Redcar.
It has a boating lake with pedalos, cafe, children's play area, etc. The boats are unlikely to be there next year due to vandalism. There is currently an outdoor musical feature that's very popular with younger kids.
Lots of wildlife too, ducks, geese, swans, herons, squirrels, robins. Oh, and rats. Lots of rats. BIG rats.
ALL dogs must be on a lead. £100 spot fine penalty. Beware.
Oh, and there's a big hole in the fence, Kirkleatham lane end, so you can ignore the opening times and go in when you like.
Beautiful park
Good to take a wheelchair through.
Younger kids play area is great.
Nice little lake and pedalo option in summer.
friendly birdlife
Beautiful park and excellent café.
wonderful walk around the lake, clean tidy and well kept. you can feed the ducks. Great play area for the kids. has separate outdoor dining as well as a well stocked cafe. Great for dog walkers plenty of bins. car park a little small (10).

I love this Park, its lakes, with boats walkways with bridges, cafe , play park, picnic area, mobility scooter wheel chair very friendly, so many Ducks, swans, herons. My favourite bit is hand feeding the many squirrels that live in the park, has a beautiful rose garden, pagoda rest/picnic areas, great for lead walking your dog .
Always a lovely place to visit.
It's perfect for a day at the park. They have ducks, swans and geese that you can feed, a big park with slides and swings, and even a food and ice cream for sale with public toilets. They even have some inflatables for kids which just tops it all off. Very beautiful.
Nice Park with cafe and boats during certain days and play park and walks all the time.
Very clean park , no litter or issue ,however the summer activity of a bouncy castle costing £3.50 per child all day may sound great but after 20 kids have had enough. I saw families turn away with 4 and 5 kids due to the cost . Why not have a smaller hourly charge
