After reading so many 1 star reviews I was sceptical on what sort of takeaway would arrive, not arrive at all.
It's clear, that some people just complain for the sake of a refund.
Food was lovely, hot, tasty and well prepared. This will now be my go-to local for a Chinese takeaway.
It's old school and delivers it's own orders, they don't have a plethora of Uber drivers! So just be patient and you won't be disappointed!

Just had a delivery from Gourmet Wok this evening was really surprised by the delivery time they were here within 15 mins.
Always order from here the food is good especially the Hot and Sour soup.

Best chinese takeaway outside of china! absolutely scrummy food! Great service very friendly . Order early because they are so good they get really busy. the new website where you can order in advance is a really good touch. keep up the good work guys, so glad you are still going strong especially in these difficult times.

We had a few bits from the Gourmet Wok and we all really enjoyed. Nice light flavours and sauces.
I collected myself so had a very quick order and wait time.

It's really difficult for me to order takeaway as I am seriously allergic to sugar. The staff were great, checking ingredients and eventually making up a special meal for me. Really appreciate it. Great vegeterian options.
