Spudulike

Located in Braehead shopping centre. I have always enjoyed SpudULike baked potatoes. Recently the menu has had a ‘make over’ due to the involvement of chef James Martin. There is a greater emphasis on presentation now and some changes to the menu itself. Two of my favourite fillings have been removed from the menu (Egg mayonnaise and Prawn Marie Rose) and the coleslaw is now called rainbow slaw. It’s my opinion that the baked potatoes are smaller than they used to be, however they are just as tasty and I enjoyed a combination of butter, grated cheese and ‘rainbow slaw’. What I had was very good but I would like bigger potatoes and I’d like to see the egg mayonnaise back on the menu. Returned with a friend: 2 baked potatoes each butter with 2 fillings plus two soft drinks: £17.50. A bit on the expensive side I think.

Well here's a surprise! Not been in here before and loved the friendly staff, food, value for money, decor and the overall experience. They don't hold back on the filling on baked potatoes nor the chicken salad... totally satisfied my appetite during a busy Christmas shopping spree. Give it a try people, I think you'll enjoy.
