This place was recommended to me while I was in the area.
It did NOT disappoint!
We had the Tikka Masala and madras... 2 pretty common dishes... but my gosh, were they better than what I have at home!
The gentleman on the phone was polite... the food came fast and was hot/fresh. It was top-notch 👌
What was crazy was that it was such good value for money! In the North West where I am from, the prices are crazy and the food is good... but not this nice!

Went as a group of 6 food was excellent and staff were brilliant would definitely go there again.
Been here a few times now. Staff are great, always friendly and happy to help. Food is also well cooked and lovely. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be returning.
Can't comment on service or atmosphere as had a takeaway meal, however food was great with generous portions and well priced. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal for 4 and would highly recommend 👌
Absolutely fantastic food and amazing value for money. Had the buffet on Sunday first time we had been and will definitely return again and again

We have decided to visit this restaurant on our way back to home from Peak District. The quality of food and taste was outstanding from starter to main course. Very professional customer service and lovely environment. We enjoyed every single bite of meal.Love to come back again.
What a fabulous find. Delicious food, cooked to your taste, a lovely atmosphere and an extremely warm owner whose staff are a credit. Interestingly, though we searched for an Indian restaurant it is in fact Nepalese though all the Indian favourites are on the menu. We thought we'd give it a go, being new to the area...I can't imagine we will be going anywhere else now when we fancy Nepalese/Indian food!
OUTSTANDING! We had: lamb pasanda and chicken jalfreizi, with garlic naan & pilau rice, plus drinks. The meat was incredibly tender and the flavours & consistency of the curries was truly delicious. And the naan...omg! So good.
Drink were surprisingly inexpensive which was refreshing. Excellent prices and portion sizes & quick and friendly service. Comfy chairs & clean well presented restaurant overall. Lovely atmosphere. What a find. 😀
10/10. We will be back very very soon.

Excellent Sunday lunch at the Gurkha - they do a buffet from 2pm. Generous and all you can eat. I think it was £13. Very tasty options - fish pakora, chicken tikka masala and Bombay potato my pick. Not busy but when word gets around it will build up. Only possible suggestion would be a veggie curry as well as the Bombay potato. My veggie wife loved it but could have done with another option. Staff always lovely, I'll go again
