We visited for the first time on Friday for dinner and were highly impressed by the entire experience. The restaurant decor was fabulous, every member of staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food and wine (champagne) was exquisite. The seared scallops in the shell were perhaps the best we’ve ever had - the sauce and nori furikake complemented the scallops so well that we even requested a spoon to ensure not one drop of sauce remained. Delicious! The grilled lobster and accompanying fries were cooked to perfection. The desserts were a delight…a simply wonderful dinner. Richmond has long been in need of a dining establishment of this quality. We shall most definitely return!

Absolutely faultless experience. The service is second to none. The staff is so polite and always ready to assist. The food is fresh and you can taste all the beautiful flavours. The dessert I won't forget easily, a creme brule like no others. It's an amazing restaurant. Definitely worth it.

My first experience of Scott’s and it won’t be my last. I decided to opt for menu items that I wouldn’t normally choose - and they didn’t disappoint. I cannot underestimate how much I enjoyed the food, service, location and atmosphere. It was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant manager and his team made myself and my party feel extremely welcome. They were attentive and engaging throughout. Thank you for making the evening so special.

I’ve enjoyed trying Scott’s in Richmond. Visited a couple of times now and the service and food has been great. Only found the dining area to be a bit cold but otherwise lovely!

Made a last minute, Monday late afternoon booking for the terrace. Amazing food and professional yet friendly service - small note here, our sashimi platter was missing the tartare, however we havent noticed until after we left. Great recommendations and nicely composed list of wines by the glass. Beautiful classic music selection which contributes to amazing ambience. Highly recommend and will come again soon!

Fun atmosphere, lovely rooftop balcony to have dinner on a warm summer evening. Scallops were beautiful, wouldn’t recommend the meat dishes, pork belly was dry (my bad for ordering meat at a fish restaurants, and the desserts were heavenly. Great selection on non alcoholic drinks.

Food, service and experience all perfect. Waiter gave us summer veg rather than the Mediterranean veg we ordered but so distracted by how good the lamb was that it didn't remotely matter. The Paris-Brest is the best dessert you may ever have, should you choose to. Can't wait to come back.

Scott's boasts a gorgeous decor, which seems to take inspiration from the 1920s. Elegant and expansive inside, while overlooking the river; the aesthetics cannot be questioned. I opted for a Strawberry & Cream mocktail, which was delicious, and ended the afternoon having had 3. The starters were sublime, ensure you order the fried aubergine and crab dishes. The Octopus was tasty, but a little burnt in places. The mains didn't compare as favourably to the starters. The portion of chicken for the roast was surprisingly small, and the halibut (although cooked brilliantly) was a bland. The accompaniments with the Halibut dish did elevate it somewhat. The seafood platter was exquisite. Desserts did not disappoint at all! I thoroughly enjoyed the Chocolate and Hazelnut Delice. I also had the Paris Brest, which was great, however, the waiter was rather liberal with the thick chocolate sauce; so I recommend either pouring it for yourself or ensuring a little is poured. A fellow guest ordered the Passion fruit dessert, which they loved - but was too sour for my taste. Service was a little slow at times, such as when ordering bread, however the waiters were delightful and thorough when explaining different items, and were happy to ask the kitchen whether certain dishes were appropriate for those with certain dietary requirements.

A really enjoyable experience. Top level service, food and decor. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into making Scott’s in Richmond a destination. The decor and atmosphere is one of opulence. This was a quick, last minute lunch and it did not disappoint. I had fish and chips. Consisting of a substantial, pan fried skate wing which was perfectly cooked. The chips were all hot and crunchy and couldn’t be faulted. Despite being a flying visit it left me wanting more so a return visit is definitely on the cards. Well done to everyone at Scott’s.

Beautiful stand-alone restaurant in Richmond. Seafood is the main focus and it shows as all the ingredients are really tasty and fresh. The highlights were the oysters and the scallops. They also serve fairly good sashimi and some other Asian infused dishes. The fish and chips was great but not crazy special or anything. Service was exceptional and the interior is worth having a look around. The area is lovely also so good to have a walk around before or after the meal. Staff are very well versed in the menu and are easily able to assist with choosing menu items. The price is not cheap but not expensive for what you’re getting either. Perfect for a special occasion or when you need a seafood fix.
