Valentino's

I stayed the night at Valentino’s with my wife when we were in town for a wedding. The rooms were really nice and clean. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and we were given arguably the best breakfast I’ve ever been served. We’re looking forward to coming back and trying the restaurant and staying another night.

Wow! What an absolute gem of a place! Best pizza I've had in the UK. Reminded me of some of the best from when I lived in Italy! I had the excellent Valentino's Pizza and it was fantastic. Wonderful, super thin base, really flavoursome tomato sauce and quality toppings! However, I think it was my wife's meal that stole the show. A lot of places these days offer gluten free pizzas but their bases are often shop bought and feel like an afterthought, not so here. Really great quality, delicious base that you wouldn't know was gluten free. She had the Isolana pizza which was a serious, grown up affair. Rich, deep and savoury putanesca style sauce with delicious big salty anchovies. It was so, so amazing! The staff were super friendly and attentive, even turned on the radiator for us because we were a bit chilly. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere was great. It easy to see why this place is so popular!

It has been a long time since we last came here, and we should have been back sooner as it was as good as we remembered. My mushroom risotto was brilliant and my husband enjoyed his chicken capresi just as much. With our friends we celebrated 🍾 and enjoyed the whole experience. Good selection of vegetarian options too. I had an absolutely delightful experience at Valentino's restaurant and bed and breakfast in Ripon, North Yorkshire. From the warm welcome by the friendly receptionist to the impeccably designed room, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The room's amenities, including the remarkably comfortable bed and pillows, hi-spec smart TV, and thoughtful touches like USB bedside charging points, made my stay truly exceptional. The cleanliness of both the room and corridors was impeccable, and the addition of a coffee machine, cooling fan, and under-the-counter fridge with cold bottled spring water enhanced the overall comfort. The large walk-in shower and the delectable homemade Italian biscuits were delightful surprises. My evening at the restaurant was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring prompt and timely service despite the restaurant's busy atmosphere. The food was nothing short of scrumptious, providing an authentic taste of Italy with a diverse menu featuring locally sourced and Italian ingredients. The extensive selection of wines and desserts added to the overall culinary delight. What sets Valentino's apart is not just the exceptional quality but also the reasonable pricing, making it a standout choice compared to corporate rivals. To top it off, the thoughtful gesture of providing a takeaway continental breakfast for my early departure demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Valentino's for both its outstanding food and accommodation. It undoubtedly deserves a 5-star rating, offering a memorable and affordable experience in the heart of Ripon, North Yorkshire.

The hotel is small 5 rooms but very beautiful. The rooms are very clean. With a good comfy bed. The ensuite very clean and warm. The mini fridge has bottled water and bottle of milk. We booked a table at the restaurant. The food was amazing, fresh tasty. Also our first Italian breakfast was fresh an tasty. But no restaurant and hotel is complete, without an amazing staff. Friendly polite and very helpful. We would definitely return
