I finally got round to visiting this place for brunch one Saturday, having noticed it a couple of years ago and repeatedly passing through when it was closed. The food was generous and delicious and prices reasonable - we opted for smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast and smoked salmon and scrambled egg on a bagel. Both were lovely. The service was also very quick and attentive. It's definitely worth a visit if you live in the area.

Love Stanley's! Have been for lunch and breakfast. I'm not really a salad person but I have to say they are fantastic! The homemade slaw is amazing. Breakfasts are lovely and staff are very friendly. I have also found that they are fantastic with children

I went for afternoon tea today with my daughters and grand daughters (3 and 6). They loved their individual cake stands. The food was delicious especially the scones. All the staff were very friendly. Thank you we will be coming again and will certainly recommend it to our friends.

Absolutely first rate. Last minute booking for 5 people and 2 kids and Penny could not have been more helpful. Food was absolutely fantastic and the service was amazing. They couldn't have done enough for us. Lovely little tearoom in a wonderful setting. Well priced. Highly recommended.

Lovely place. We called after a walk round the reservoir, although late lunch it was very busy. We called ahead to make sure they had room for us 3 adults and 5 children. Service was fantastic and food lovely. The cakes were amazing. Best Victoria sponge ever. 🍰
