Wow. Great food and service because all the staff know everything about the menu and very friendly.
Cinnamon -a-mon-a-mon-mon. Yer, its nice. I like it.
I think the price is right for what you get, and the staff are cool.
oh and cobra beer !!!!! oh my, cobra baby!!!!
I will be going tonight and getting loads of plenty hot you know!!!!
Handy for me. As the first customer of the Cinnamon Lounge I can confirm that I have returned many times. The staff are unfailingly polite and charming ( unlike many asian restaurants) It is always a pleasure to go there. The poppadums and spice tray is always a favourite and the Prosecco complements the food very well. The food can be a little samey but the secret is to chose the special dishes which are different class. Wonderful white linen table cloths but not cheap
It gets better and better. The menu is extensive and after finding their feet and upping the spicyness of the meals, Cinnamon Lounge has hit the right balance of great tasting meals, but not over spiced. Service is always friendly, and you're not hassled to finish up and leave. This is mainly due to the size and space in the resaurant, lots of room to spread out. This also makes it child friendly, you will always find families in there.
Fantastic food and a brilliant service really enjoyed our foo
We ordered some mouth watering curries for a family of 5 including the 'special' prawn, lamb and chicken bhuna + a chicken tikka masala for the kids with biryani rice, normal nan and garlic nan. Salad, and all sauces included. The food was amazing and portion sizes were very generous! The staff are incredibly friendly and professional including the boss and chef. We will be ordering again very soon. I highly recommend this place!
Definitely upscale for what I was expecting in that zipcode. Clean and well presented dining environment. Flavors were great. Hospitality by the employess was definitely the best they could offer. Best Indian restaurant amongst that zone for sure. A must visit if you are around in the area.
Had a great meal.
The tikka mixed grill was very good the chicken breast on the bone was so flavoured and just marvellous.
One of the best Indian(South Asian) foods around Halifax. Good selection for non-veg as well as veg, and a reasonably stocked bar.
Some of my fav dishes here are:
Tandoori Lamb Chops (best in Halifax)
Chicken tikka starter
Fish sukka starter
Tandoori Lamb chops
Curries:
Bahar-e-Murg (chicken with minced lamb based curry) is my fav.
Most curries and starters are good.
Bread: Garlic coriander Naan
Rice: Garlic coriander pulao is the best.
Staff is attentive, couteous and ready with good suggestions.
Went here with a friend. Had a wonderful meal. I think I over faced myself with ordering a starter lol. Was really good though.
Found this wonderful place on a day out. Great food and service. Good price too!
