I order take aways from here, but never eaten in until today. It was fantastic food as always and great service. Would definitely recommend
We have been going here since it first opened and have never been disappointed. Excellent food and lovely lovely staff. Ash, the proprietor is such a lovely chap and always so accommodating. Unfortunately as we now live further away we don't get here so often but are lucky to live nearer the family's other restaurant Mim Spice in Gt. Wakering and these comments apply to that restaurant also! Exceptional!
Food was excellent, and I've eaten many Indian meals. Prices were same as every other Indian restaurant, Cobra and Kingfisher on tap nice and cold.
Staff were really good too, we visited late on a Sunday so only one other table taken.
All was great, and will be back.
Definitely book a table if Friday or Saturday night. Very busy restaurant. Food fantastic, service great (considering a Friday night and packed restaurant). Highly recommend.
Ordered a takeaway. It was lovely & hot. I had Bombay Chicken with potato & egg and my husband had tandoori chicken. Both of us agreed the chicken was lovely.
I'm following a low calorie diet so these were my choices for a meal out (and still lost weight on the scales this morning 🙂):
Salmon tikka w. salad & lemon garnish to start, very tasty.
Tandoori king prawn for main sizzling on a hot plate with a side salad (no rice) was to die for! Delicious 😋
Oh, and shared a saag bhaji which I was pleased had hardly any oil in it and had plenty of flavour👌
Even the coffee they serve was good.

Just had an order delivered from Taste of the Raj.....Chicken Tikka Massala, Sag Aloo, Charna Massala, Tikka Main etc and all I can say is Wow!!!! My husband said it was the best Indian meal he's ever had and I cant dissagree. Absolutely delish guys. We'll definately be back!!!
This is one of the better Indian takeaways I've had. The delivery times can be a bit longer than others, but it is worth the wait. I've had one order out of 20 that was slightly wrong but hasn't put me off overall. The food is great.

Tried for the first time on 21st Dec 22. Lovely layout for the restaurant. Great food. Excellent service. Will be visiting again.

Got to be the best Indian restaurant in Essex ash the owner has recently spent a lot on refurbishments absolutely the best we'll worth a visit you won't be disappointed
