Toby Carvery Moby Dick

Very nice roast meal. Meat is always cooked well & tender. Runner beans were soft & tasty. Parsnips were nicely roasted, substantial & sweet. Great yorkshire pud. Potatoes looked & tasted good but i can never understand why pub carvery's can't produce crispy roast potatoes. Gravy & condiments were plentiful & good. Overall, a very nice meal & can't wait to return after the refurbishment.

Visied last night (13.10.23)... Had a fabulous dining experience here as a result of Elvita's outstanding customer service. She literally made us feel so welcomed, comfortable and quite at home if I'm honest. She was very personable, genuine and transparent. Everything was so natural with her, thank you so much. She's an ideal representation of what customer service in the food industry should look like! The food was absolutely fantastic, frequently replenished and looked appetising, sometimes appearance of buffets can be off putting but, this was presented very well. The chef on this night was Cezek, again another representation of 5* customer service standards. I felt like he was serving us like it was his home and that's the vibe I loved about our dining experience. We were a family of 5, me, my husband and 3 small kids who were looked after so nicely. In terms of interior and atmosphere (physically) did seem a little out dated however, I am fully aware you are about to close for a refurbishment so obviously it's in hand. One thing I'd say is have better lighting inside, although it's a "home vibe pub style dining" it was very dark which can sometimes create a dull mood... anyways, overall absolutely fantastic! I was met by the bubbly Sharon , who guided me through the process of obtaining my food. Sylvia was the carver on today and with her pleasant and jovial temperament was very efficient in cutting our meat requirements and served. There was an ample choice in the vegetable dept. Too and the gravy and condiments were all neatly arranged. A very welcoming experience.

Roast dinner is one of my favourites sometimes food is on point sometimes the Calvary is left too long it has to be busy to get fresh food. Service was great from one colleague was brilliant with me and my daughter and her name is Elveeta she was great and very helpful great asset to the establishment.
