Lovely fish.
Deja vu: My mum asked me to pick her up some fidh and chips from here. I knew as I was standing inside, that it seemed familiar. I asked one of the staff if they'd been there long. When they said "since the 70's" I recognised it as the place my dad used to take me on a Saturday evening to get the Dr Who viewing dinner. It was great then, and it's still here 50 years later. I think that says all you need to know. Highly recommended!
They even do "scraps", if you remember those from being a skint child. 🤣

I've knocked a star off because parking close to it is a nightmare, but it's well worth the effort. Superb fish and chips, the fact it's full tells you a lot.

Sublime fish and chips to say the least! Worth the travel from the west to the south of Yorkshire for them.. and a shout out the customer service.. amazing people who are kind caring and understanding..

The nicest chips with the most amazing sized portions! The naan kebab was huge & was enough for 2 days. Chips were so nice, crispy yet fluffy on the inside. Perfect 👌.
The staff were so welcoming & friendly too, first time to this chip shop & will definitely be visiting again!
