I called in to blue whale on my way through Maltby.
The staff were cheery and friendly and I felt very welcome.
It made an absolutely fabulous experience as people just aren't very friendly these days.
I was told that they were waiting on chips and they took my order.
They quickly served me my chips mushy peas and potato scallop and they tasted delicious and we're hot and looked amazing on the eye.

The Blue Whale is the best fish and chip shop in the county. I live in Mablethorpe and it is better than any chip shop there. When you ask for gluten free fish, that's what you get, along with no contamination from serving tools and a designated pan. The batter is delicious on the fish and the chips are superb, fried perfectly and crispy. Prices are fair but the quality is exceptional.

The food is amazing, I’ve travelled throughout the UK and The Blue Whale is by far the best chippy I’ve been to. Excellent food which they only use the best potatoes, fish and even the kebab meat is the best quality and you get a decent sized portion. Staff are very friendly, especially the owners (family ran business), always ask how you are when you go in. the atmosphere is friendly. It’s always clean. It’s a great place to get some fish and chips, or anything else on the menu.
