We came here on the off chance for some lunch. Decor was very nice and cosy. Food was delish! The homemade chips 👌 perfect. And reasonably priced. Lovely place and would definitely go back.
Overall it was a great evening for our party. Slight snag in that they originally gave us a smaller table than we booked but they soon fixed it. The wait staff were great and the food was very good. Will definitely return. A huge car park is a bonus as well.
Had another amazing Sunday carvery yesterday, the lamb and beef just melted in my mouth, everything so tasty and the gravy nice and thick. Had a lovely chat to the chef Michelle (who is the best chef ever) and she told us her secret to her amazing stuffing balls. Definitely the best dinner I have had and I will be back.
Went to the Sitwell Arms for Sunday carvery, as it was recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint! Recently taken over by new management who came and spoke with us after our food to ensure we were happy with the service which was nice to see! Not often you get a proper manager that engages with the customers.

This place is a gem. I'm visiting family in the area and have been here for midweek lunch and Sunday carvery. I work in the hospitality industry along with my husband who's a chef, and all I can say is the food is delicious, service spot on, friendly staff, clean pub, and very highly recommend. It's unusual to find somewhere that ticks every box. Well done to everyone who works here. And Thank you.
Only minor thing I would say, is I couldn't leave a tip on my card , and as I don't carry cash I couldn't leave one. I will go back and leave a tip.

had lunch with friends, meals were ok, the rump steak was tender and good but again the french fries were not crispy. my friends' meals and kid's meals were good.

the weekday fixed price lunch is now £10.99 and it is value for money. fish and chips was ok. would like the chunky chips to be cooked longer and more crispy.

Our server Becca was so lovely and attentive. Food was gorgeous and large portions for the price. Desserts where also so so so nice. Lovely meal out definitely recommend. Quiz also looks good.
Met up with some work colleagues here. The staff were fantastic, the place was very clean, great atmosphere. Food was on the expensive side. My friends thought the food was great, I found it adequate.
Will certainly visit again soon.
