A cheap but nice eat!. The friendly staff welcome you to a great carvery experience. The meat is well cooked and the vegetables and potatoes are well presented in tureens that are easily accessible. The choice of gravy and sauces round off the wide choice available.
Great Value For Money. The Carvery at the Drawbridge is well worth the money. The food is always freshly cooked and the meats moist.
The only downside would be the Toilets as they could do with being refurbished.
Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been too. Food was astonishing, drinks were well, drinks and the staff were absolutely blazing 🔥. Super friendly atmosphere, all the staff are willing to have a chat and a laugh with you. Can't thank Kara enough for the service and experience she gave us here. 10/10 keep up the good work, we will definitely be back for more.

On a baking hot day, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had the carvery which was excellent although not quite as many different vegetables available as at its sister site The Moorlands. Service was excellent. Very pleasant sitting areas. Would definitely revisit.
What a fabulous find. Great food for a fabulous price and fantastic staff. We had just arrived in Rotherham, tired and hungry as we had been exploring beautiful Leeds all day and didn't have much to eat. Once we had checked into our accommodation for the night I went on line thinking we would have difficulties finding somewhere to eat on a Saturday night. Fortunately we found The Drawbridge online and could book our dinner online and be seated within an hour,,, On a Saturday night!!! We were not disappointed. We had the carvery and would thoroughly recommend it. Marie the chef served us our meat with such a beautiful smile and she was happy to have a chat to this couple of hungry Aussies. Thankyou Ethan and to your amazing staff, Alycia, Marie, Cara and Paul. Your hospitality was refreshing and very much appreciated. We felt welcome from the first Hello. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Called in on the off chance that we could get a table for my wife's 65th birthday and we did. The atmosphere was great as was the food. We were 14 people ranging from 2 years to 65 and they catered for all of us having different food. The carvery was excellent and well worth the money. The beer was well poured and could tell it was looked after so happy with that. The staff were very polite and said please & thank you which is rare these days. My wife got a free bottle of prosecco for her birthday (thanks). We have already made plans to go back, really worth the trip. Thank you and keep up the good work.
The food was lovely, and the restaurant was clean it was quiet when we first arrived as it was so early. However, it started to fill up around 9 am. Prices start really low just £5.99 per person, but once drinks and mushrooms and other bits and bobs are added to complete your meal prices rise to around £10 per person
Absolutley wonderful staff. Cater for my allergy. Amazing chef. Food was just as I like it. Apart from salad. Think it should be shreeded n maybe little less. Clean. Tidy. Staff very efficient n lovely too talk too. Very preventable. Better than other place you have Toby Carvery near asda. Never ever eat there again till it improves. But drawbridge. I pay £14 round trip n pay for meal n Worth every penny xxx
Only went for breakfast, we'd been staying at the Welcome Inn. My son & grandson enjoyed the Breakfast. Hubby had a bacon breakfast bap, said it could have been hotter but ok! I just had toast & jam.
Fantastic home cooked carvery never had a bad 1, diverse staff new and old please give the new staff a heads up they have to start somewhere give them time. We come every week sometimes more. They accept dogs , kids everyone, love they employ diverse staff with neuro and disability, the price is good value, just 1 thing to try to ignore and that’s the deco it’s seen better days and does look grotty but please forget that because the food is great which is important the price is good and it’s clean just not fancy, I def recommend so much better than Toby carvery and there aunt Bessie’s lol. Birthday visit for our 11 year old grandson, my favourite meal is their Dirty Clucker and it did not disappoint, lovely lad waiting table (Adam). Won’t be long before our next visit. ❤️
