King Henry changed landlord a few months ago and it gets better and better. Today we had sizzlers and sizzling they were. Fabulous well cooked food.
We had 4 meals in the last 2 weeks and all were cooked to perfection.
We came to the pub to celebrate a heavenly birthday for our dear mum who would have been 61 today but unfortunately 5 years ago she passed away from a brain tumour. We were warmly welcomed, seated, wonderful food served and a lovely atmosphere 😀 brought some light to a very tough day for us all.. Scott, Chloe and all the staff deserve a medal 🏅
Excellent staff service and very helpful. Easy to book a table online. Food was delicious and cooked very well. Portion size was very good.
Came on the off chance for something to eat unknowingly it was Monday club beer prices, 40% off mains and also had a fun filled quiz night. The carabin chicken skewers were absolutely lovely paired with dirty fries. The dj/entertainment host was great and we had such a laugh throughout 2 quizzes we took part in. It was lovely to be served by Jess and just think overall the pub has a wonderful atmosphere throughout and the young man who's name we didn't catch was very helpful and was working hard all night. The kitchen member even brought my partner some spicy sauce for his meal nobody could help us more. We will definitely be returning on a Monday both for the food and entertainment. What a lovely pub 😊
Me and a friend came in for food and drinks, Olivia and Jacqueline served us perfect drinks, Summer served us food which Matt and Paul had cooked, all was perfect, had the best time, will come again! Thanks for the great hospitality!! I had halloumi fries and onion rings, my friend had a loaded surf and turf, definitely recommend
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the pub itself was very clean . I took my friends there and they were very impressed with the food and thought the manager was very friendly and professional,nothing was to much trouble for them, we will definitely be returning 😀 well done guys, ❤️
First timer, food was decent & drinks well made. Nice outdoor seating(even with the cars going past) Olivia made sure to check on us. So all in all a decent place to eat/drink !
Nipped in the king Henry for a couple of beers. Served with a smile as always by Jess. My mate decided to order a curry, he thoroughly enjoyed that too, poppadoms, naan bread. Couldn't finish it. We will be back.
Customer service by staff was very good.. However wife's steak and chicken combo had to go back as it wasn't sizzling... Whole point of sizzling pubs. Yes... Chips were a bit cold.... Larger was well priced and clean fresh taste
Loved the food, was spot on. Couldn’t have asked for better. Service on point, staff are so nice. Atmosphere is brilliant, love the old vibes 10/10 would definitely come again
