Came here for birthday celebrations with friends and family, we were all well looked after by the serving staff. Food was delicious and will be back to try more of the menu. Also a kind gesture for the staff to offer a free cocktail to the birthday girl.
I cant stress enough just how good the food and service was at The Gaslamp, we stumbled in after a long shopping day and were not expecting much. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were absolutely lovely, so attentive. Price wise was perfect as well, we ordered from the set menu so it really didn't break the bank, will definitely be returning 😀
Only been for breakfast but turned out to be a good choice. Not the cheapest but all good quality with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Best to book any day it's popular
Afternoon treat for me and my wife today despite the horrific weather. Hats off to the staff, as they'd sorted some issues and provided a great service.
The burger and fish finger sandwich were outstanding. I've only given 4 stars not 5 as I was incredibly disappointed with the cheese board. £15 and we barely got enough cheese to make a butty... Plus no chutney!!. Didn't spoil the afternoon and we will definitely go back... But come on Gaslamp, sort the cheeseboard out!! 👍🏻👍🏻
First time visiting today for Sunday lunch. The food was amazing, the beef was served just as I like it and all the accompanying sides were delicious too . One of the best Sunday lunches I've had.The staff and atmosphere are perfect. Well worth the visit and will definitely be going back.

Nice place, nice employers, grate food👍
This is a very nice, hidden gem in Rotherham. The place interior is lovely, very stylish and cool, comfy seating, and a lovely open roof space to eat under.
The staff are very courteous, always checking in with you with a smile, it goes a long way, makes you want to tip them more and visit again/recommend others.
Me & my wife ordered the "Full Vegan Gaslamp", but added scrambled eggs to our portions. You'll see in the picture that serving sizes are pretty generous, for £9 I think the quantity is spot on.
My only critique was that when we were asked to come in, we weren't given a choice of sitting outside or inside, I prefer being given a choice as it was quite empty. Same with when booking online, there is no outside or inside sitting preferences. But that's a minor critique, would certainly visit again and recommend families/couples/friends to visit, the atmosphere inside is lovely.
The pic only shows the aftermath of cracking Steak Frites with garlic, lemon and parmesan topping. Easily better than Miller and Carter.
You may not expect to find a gem of an eatery in an ex mining village but on my first visit to Wickersley I did just that. We had not booked but were shown to a table and advised that lunch service had not started it starts at 12.30
From the lovely Churchill cutlery to the bright and airy feel of this brasserie I was totally charmed.
Fabulous art deco styling mixed with modernity make a great blend for contemporary dining with a relaxed feel.
The food oh my days ☺️ triple cooked chips the best I have tasted and the lunch menu was very reasonable. I had the posh fish finger sandwich 👌
The most impressive thing of note was the service which IMHO was as good as any Michelin star venue
Sam (for that is his name) was the most attentive of server's without being overbearing so 5🌟 if you want somewhere to socialise eat and enjoy cocktails I highly recommend the gaslamp
I came here at Christmas for a meal and it is well worth it for that special occasion. Don't expect Weatherspoons prices, but remember, you get what you pay for, amazing food!
You can also nip in for a drink, where it is table service only.
