A lovely little find on a country road. Food was absolutely fantastic, I had fish and chips with mushy peas it was a good sized portion, I actually couldn't finish it. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable at about £12 to £16 for a main meal. It does get busy so I would recommend booking a table. There is plenty of car parking. Well worth a visit, I would definately eat here again.

One of the best pub/restaurants in the area. Beer is excellent and the food is extremely good especially the fish and chips which are amazing. Highly recommend if in the area... plenty of parking if driving too. Best to book if you want food on a Friday or weekend, and note they don't serve food all day as the kitchen has set hours

Our 1st visit - car park overflowing and parking on the main road. Food was lovely and decent portions. Steak pie & chips for me with Old Peculiar on draught and Cod in batter with a double Gin for the Mrs. Staff have a great sense of humour 👍🏻🍻
Fabulous food at this very popular place. Staff are fab too, very helpful and attentive.
Gorgeous décor, attentive staff, delicious food, massive portions, excellent value for money. Would highly recommend but need to book as understandably it gets very busy.
I had the Risotto and lemon posset with raspberry sorbet and a de-caff americno with a brandy to follow and honestly the food was stunning!!
Perfect, but the live music needs to go. It's a lovely little village pub, not a concert hall.
