Looks like a traditional village inn from the front but it's an open plan, modern pub inside.
Well worth seeking out. Friendly, welcoming staff and good choice of real ales including Theakston Old Peculier.

One of the best pub/restaurants in the area. Beer is excellent and the food is extremely good especially the fish and chips which are amazing. Highly recommend if in the area... plenty of parking if driving too. Best to book if you want food on a Friday or weekend, and note they don't serve food all day as the kitchen has set hours

A lovely little find on a country road. Food was absolutely fantastic, I had fish and chips with mushy peas it was a good sized portion, I actually couldn't finish it. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable at about £12 to £16 for a main meal. It does get busy so I would recommend booking a table. There is plenty of car parking. Well worth a visit, I would definately eat here again.
