I come here frequently. So cute, friendly and traditional decent food.
Cosy atmosphere and delicious food always.
What a lovely little 'tea room', thoroughly enjoyed my visit, nothing too much for the staff, especially considering my two pernickety friends, home-made scones (bought some to take home), best ever, cream freshly whipped and real strawberries in the jam, rhubarb crumble with ice cream, tart and sweet at the same, yum, ploughman's lunch tasty, thank you, will be going back on my next visit
Beautiful little tea room with lovely cream teas. Had the lemon 🍋 cream tea option with gorgeous lemon curd and masses of cream. Pretty surroundings, flowers and pinkness.
Such a lovely find! Menu gives lots of options. Had to try the lemon cream tea and it was delicious! We also had the lemon drizzle cake which was equally delicious. We were looking around at those getting meals and they smelt delicious, although we certainly didn't question our choice. A very friendly atmosphere. The waitress was just delightful, smiley and helpful. We had our dog with us and she was attentive to him too.
Highly recommend a visit. It is next to a Costa Coffee where they were not busy at all however Trellis was very busy and I can see why. We made a wise choice in where we ate and would highly recommend a visit.
Great place to find, late in afternoon when other cafes were closed.
Very colourful atmosphere (quintessential Brighton!) indoors.
The selection of cakes and nibbles to wash a good tea or coffee down with were amazing. Service was lovely and extremely friendly.
Thanks for adding this to our list of great experiences during our weekend in Brighton.
Wow what a awesome tea room / restaurant had ploughman's & dessert it was absolutely beautiful , wonderful old fire going in the main tea room just like going back in time absolutely fantastic please go if your in Rottingdean, video & photos attached 😉
I have visited twice now since yesterday following a disaster at another establishment nearby.
The quality of the food, homemade produce, atmosphere and good old fashioned first class service is just superb.
A really feel good event in my day
I shall visit a lot more often if this keeps up !!
I’ve just moved to Peacehaven and I shall now be a regular ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quaint and homely little place. We felt very welcome and were delighted to find this place open when everywhere else in Rottingdean was closed. We had tea/hot chocolate and homemade vegetable & spiced lentil soup served with crusty bread and butter. It was absolutely delicious. It is very busy in here with many things to catch your eye, a good selection of food and cakes either for a meal or tea and a quick bite. I’d very much recommend this place and hope to return.
amazing food, fresh ingredients, lovely staff in a great traditional tearoom. Lots to look at and enjoy, also farm products and conserves available to purchase...
Very quick, efficient and pleasant service as we had a bus to catch. Because of the efficiency we were able to enjoy the delicious tea/coffee and cakes without feeling hurried. We are looking forward to a further visit.
Had a delicious toasted sandwich followed by the best scone I have had in ages with cream and strawberry jam. Plus a coffee. All for under £11.
