Had a reasonable first time experience,slightly spoiled by the low water levels which made landing fish very awkward.

Been coming to the lakes for years it's always been a pleasure the only down side was I ordered food from dot cottons cafe and was told too busy I couldn't walk too far as had a stress fracture in my foot. don't need to hear that on a hot day it wasn't busy that day there was only two people on the lake. So next time take my own food and drink so if he goes out business will know why job done

Fish day ticket had 5 carp biggest was 20.10lbs. It was wet and muddy but no one can control the weather.

Fished stumps on Sunday, had a great session. Had quite a few nice carp out on the float rod. Definitely returning. Also love the booking system.

Had a great days fishing on Lake 4, found the carp to be very cautious, especially when floater fishing on the surface. Did catch a nice carp on a PVA rig setup though. Yes very nice place . I've fished here for 48 hours on lake 7 . Got 6 fish 2 of them 20 pound other under . Good cafe with food delivery on the bank . I would definitely go again . Downside :
the swims next to the river . To narrow . You will definitely struggle to put a 1 man bivy up .2 man bivy is a challenge.
They don't tell you from beginning which swims you going to fish from .
