Tranport cafe type dining establishment. Good range of food at reasonable prices. Large car park. Popular as a bikers meet.

This is a great place for bikers and is surrounded by some great roads but between the quality of the food and average service it doesn’t achieve that fifth star.
I know this is a roadside cafe but I was expecting more from the food. I got bacon, egg and chips and despite the plate being over half full with chips I only got one baby rasher of bacon. I‘be never said this before but I’ve had better quality food in a weatherspoons.
I will come back here again but I will probably swerve the food next time. I would recommend this place though.

Had a fry up here for the first time in years, I have to say thatvit has improved aince I was last here (maybe it's changed hands) the service was fast despite it being quite busy, and no complaints about the food either.
My only complaint was that it was so hot in there (it was a very hot day) but there wasn't a single fan in there to move the air around.
Other than that it was great.
I shall return.

We visited here on Sunday 20th August 2023.
It was around midday. It was very busy.
Less than 15 minutes for food once placed the order.
Had cheese omelette and chips, was nice.
Staff who took the order was very friendly.
However, 2 of the staff who were collecting empties didn't look too happy.
One of them was throwing plates, cups together, he must have been p*ssed off or something.
Other that, a nice café. Lots of motorbikes.

It's a bikers paradise. Sunday mornings are best. Breakfast is amazing and we get to see lots of motorcycles and the atmosphere is energetic. There are lovely country roads around for motorcycles. Enjoyed riding through English countryside.
Been there umpteen number of times and never disappointed.
Service is quick and tasty food.

A cash-only transport cafe popular with bikers. You'll get a good full English here, or sausage & chips with a mug of tea. All hot and freshly cooked - but if you're after smashed avo on toast with a caramel latte this isn't the place for you!

The Silver Ball Cafe is a transport cafe now a place to meet for clubs motorcycle and car. At the weekend you will find it packed with motorbikes.
They do a good breakfast of your choice.

As a former biker chick. I only visit caffs whose car parks are filled with bikes and trikes. This one is. Food here amazing, freshly cooked delicious. Coffee steaming hot just like we want it. You have to visit this place. It’s amazing.

Delicious sausage and onions in a roll. Generous portion, fair price. Great sausages. Will definitely be back. Large car park. Good location for en route travel. Had takeaway so cannot comment on atmosphere
