I had a very enjoyable lunch here today.
We were in the conservatory which has nice decor and plenty of room. Our waitress did an excellent job.
The chicken strips with southern style gravy were absolutely outstanding. The chicken was tender and succulent, the batter perfect and the gravy tasty.
Main course of ribs was very good with the best chips I've had in ages, with slaw which was tangy, sweetcorn which was very sweet and really good onion rings.
Sally no room for onion rings.
Definitely worth a visit.
Popped in on spec Sunday lunchtime, lovely clean interior, food was served quickly, hot n delicious. Well placed for walks & only 9 mins by car from McArthur Glen shopping centre. Will be back.
Another diamond in the rough... This country style pub is so fresh and clean it's a real credit to the new management team... Ps..Ladies can help themselves to a free spray of perfume when freshening up 😊
I was here yesterday for work but took the opportunity to use the facilities... You can tell how hygiene conscious the staff are behind the scenes from the toilets at front of house and these were impeccable.
As usual I was privy to work in the kitchen and again the cleanliness and high standards run throughout this pub.
Beautifully laid out with ample seating and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
These guys have only taken over a very short time ago but in my opinion they have the right stuff to make this place a raving success.

I recently visited this fantastic pub, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. Not only did the staff provide me with exceptional customer service, but they were eager to assist me with whatever I needed during my visit.
One of the highlights of my visit was the free wifi that was available for customers. As someone who is always on the go and in need of a reliable internet connection, this was a major plus. I was able to use the wifi to complete some work projects and check my emails, while enjoying a refreshing pint.
The atmosphere of the pub was also lovely - the decor was rustic and welcoming, and there was a great selection of drinks and food on the menu. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit, which made for a pleasant and memorable experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend this pub to anyone in the area looking for a relaxed and enjoyable place.
What a lovely place, nice food and ambience, but the stellar service came from the waitresses. The young ladies were fantastic, we have not had such customer service in a very long time. Definitely made our outing 100x better! 👌
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was just delicious, we will certainly be back very soon! We’ll be back for one of their events too and the location is great 😊

Came across this jem of a pub, heard the name but never been, excellent service excellent welcome of all the bar staff & owners who couldn't do enough for me & my wife, like we have been regulars and knew them all, calm atmosphere very inviting, will definitely go there again
Haven't been in for a while but 3 of us went in for lunch recently and we had a lovely lunch. Would definitely recommend if you haven't been for a while.
Had Birthday party , the food was tasty and served hot , staff were excellent, lovely welcoming pub , will definitely go back again
