Really lovely food. Fantastic front of house...waitress went above and beyond to move us from a draughty spot. And gave us ice cream on the house because they only had vanilla!! She's there on Saturdays and I'll definitely go back.
A fully booked restaurant tells you right from the start this place is good. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance even before the food arrived. Amazing flavours thrill the taste buds with Thai cooking and nothing disappointed. Would have preferred it quieter but great places are bound to be busy. Well worth booking and enjoying. Outstanding. Plenty of choice for vegans & the staff understood the nature of veganism. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic. Great balance of flavours & textures, beautifully presented. (we'd last eaten here 18 years ago and it was so bland we hadn't been back since!).
Went in there to get a takeaway and was happily greeted. Felt very comfortable in there. The food was amazing. Honestly so very tasty. I’d happily go back there again. I didn’t leave a single crumb of food.
Went to this restaurant last Thursday night
Both had a great experience, Had some the most careful, polite and accommodating service I’ve personally seen, from a very young waitresses and waiter. The food we found was also excellent.
I don’t know what went on in the past in this restaurant, by the sound of it they likely had a problem, because customers-service-wise it’s the opposite of what we went in prepared for. Because of one or two of the previous negative reviews. But if so, it’s a problem they’ve certainly sorted out… plus extra.
Don’t fear this is a great restaurant, where you will be treated well.
We spent a really lovely evening here over the second May bank holiday. Fortunately I had booked ahead because they were full and had to turn down several drop-ins and attempted telephone bookings. It was a very busy evening, with takeaways also being made to wait slightly longer than usual, but the service was great, we didn't have to wait too long for anything, and the food was fantastic. We had to ask for the Chef to confirm what was Vegan, and he came back swiftly with 2 of the starters (corn cakes and vegetable tempura), all of the curries and a few other items that do seem veggie/vegan from a quick study of the ingredients on the menu. We were absolutely stuffed for £40! I can only apologise to the other diners for our slightly casual attire after a day's walking, when they all looked so immaculate!
Amazing food, we have tried 5 Thai restaurants in the area and this is without a doubt the best. Good portion sizes with excellent flavour and fresh authentic ingredients.Staff could not do enough to help my mrs who had a bad neck and were all smart polite attentive and totally professional considering it was packed on a busy valentines night. Book without hesitation.
Delicious food - we had tofu green curry with egg fried rice and duck in orange sauce with stir-fried noodles, followed by banana fritters and ice-cream and green tea.
Plenty of time to sit and chat as only one very polite and calm waitress had to serve all tables and cope with takeaways too.
