A great little local pub with excellent beer.

Great pub, lovely, very friendly locals atmosphere, good pints of beer from the Hop back Brewery, which started brewing at this pub in 1986.

I've visited this pub many times during the last 23 years, I travel to Salisbury from Portsmouth just to enjoy this place and its excellent ales.
I last visited this pub on 15th July 2023 and it's as good as it's ever been. Great selection of Hopback Ales, as always Summer Lightning is wonderful, so too is GFB, I loved the Citra and the Garden Party was a new brew for me and I loved it too.
