The Old Castle Harvester

Lovely food , freshly cooked , not much of a selection on the salad cart anymore , staff were all happy to help , polite and cared for each & every customer. The Atmosphere was very quiet , but that could just be the time of day , as it was a week day lunchtime . Reasonable prices and great quality food which we all enjoyed .

When I reserved the table online I stated one diner had a nut allergy. When the lady took our order she did not ask if anyone had any allergies or which one of us it was. We also asked for a plain burger and when it came out it had sauce in it. It then had to be taken away and another one cooked so she had to wait ten minutes whilst the rest of us ate. All the other meals were lovely. So it spoiled what could of been a 9 or ten Rating.

The team were amazing, from helping me book my large 19 people table to the food preorder :) on the day they checked often and made sure everything was okay. I want to say a special thanks to Kate who helped us throughout the night and made it go off without any hitches! Will use again for a staff gathering! Thanks again

We went and had dinner 19/09/23 for our daughter’s 5th birthday. Kieran was our waiter and he was lovely. Very polite and helpful. He checked in on us a few times to make sure we were ok. At the end of our meal he brought out our daughter’s cake with a few other members of the team and they all sung happy birthday to her ☺️ She thanked him with a slice of cake. Thank you for a lovely evening

Service and food was amazing. We visited on the 12/09/23 and booked last minute. We were given an amazing table with a lovely atmosphere. Our server was Chelsea who went above and beyond for us. Checked in few times when we had our drinks then salad then our food. Couldn’t have asked for anymore from a server she was amazing and an asset to the company. Thank you Chelsea.

First time at Harvester! Well, it got off to a rocky start, with it taking over 20 minutes to get drinks to our table on a hot day when we just wanted a drink quickly. But after that, for some reason, things got better. We had different waiting staff who were brilliant. Now, let's talk about the food! Wow, I was expecting a lot, but the chicken, waffles, and bacon were amazingly good. The other meals were equally impressive, and the desserts were generously sized, to be fair. There aren't many places where my family and I can enjoy a nice meal without being burdened with massive bills, but Harvester did well, and we will definitely be back. I just hope the other branches live up to the quality shown here. Thank you!
